PVR

CD155 (cluster of differentiation 155), also known as the poliovirus receptor, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PVR gene.
Protein class

CD markers, Plasma proteins

Predicted location

Intracellular, Membrane, Secreted (different isoforms)

Single cell type specificity

Cell type enhanced (Pancreatic endocrine cells)

Immune cell specificity

Group enriched (non-classical monocyte, intermediate monocyte, classical monocyte, myeloid DC)

Cell line specificity

Cell line enhanced (TIME)

Interaction

Can form trans-heterodimers with NECTIN3. The extracellular domain interacts with VTN, CD226 and CD96. The cytoplasmic domain interacts with DYNLT1. Binds with high affinity to TIGIT. (Microbial infection) Interacts with poliovirus capsid proteins. (Microbial infection) Interacts with human cytomegalovirus /HHV-5 UL141 protein. (Microbial infection) Interacts with pseudorabies virus gD protein.
