Recombinant Mouse Antibody (5C8) is capable of binding to Trans-epoxy alcohols, expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). 5C8 catalyze disfavored endo-tet cyclization reactions of trans-epoxy alcohols, in formal violation of Baldwin's rules for ring closure.
