This product is a mouse antibody fragment that binds to peptidoglycan of Gram-positive bacteria. This antibody fragment also binds to whole bacteria and enhance phagocytosis and killing of the bacteria in vitro and block nasal colonization by Gram-positive bacteria in vivo.
