SLITRK1

SLIT and NTRK-like protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLITRK1 gene. Slitrk gene encoding a kind of transmembrane protein has six members of the family is mainly expressed in the nervous system involved in regulating the structure of the nerve cells swelled growth characteristic. Slitrk gene domain is N-at the end of the two leucine complex sequence LRRs and intracellular section C-at the end of the tyrosine residues and specific the flanking sequence of the two conservative structure domain respectively with axon guidance factor Slit and the corresponding structure of neurotrophic factor receptor TrkA highly homologous so named Slitrk 1.
