Recombinant Mouse Antibody (4C1) Fab Fragment is specific to DERF1, expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). mAb 4C1 partially inhibits IgE antibody binding to Der p1, suggesting that the epitopes for mAb 4C1 and human IgE antibodies overlap. A cross-reactive epitope between Der p1 and Der f1 was defined, and mutagenesis of residues in the epitope reduced IgE antibody binding.
