Recombinant Anti-LAMA3 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (1H12 var.)

The anti-LAMA3 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human LAMA3. LAMA3, a laminin family member, is vital for basement membrane formation, associated with skin disorders. The antibody has a novel LAMA3-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble LAMA3 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
