10-FnIII scaffold protein anti-Human Phospho-IkappaBalpha peptide (CAT#: SFN-L017)
The tenth fibronectin type III domain (10Fn3) that bound phospho-IkappaBalpha peptide was isolated from the library using mRNA Display technology. The fibronectin type III domain (FN3) is a small autonomous folding unit which occurs in many animal proteins involving in ligand binding. The β-sandwich structure of FN3 closely resembles that of immunoglobulin domains. After affinity maturation, 10Fn3 variants were identified having affinities (KD=18 nM) for phospho-IkappaBalpha peptide as determined by biosensor technology. It's potential to be used in diagnostic, research and therapeutic applications.
