Recombinant Anti-FN1 × Anti-HSG Bispecific Antibody (Tandem Diabody) is a bispecific fusion protein with four binding sites, two of which bind to tumor cell surface antigens and the other two to the immune cells. Tandem Diabodies do not carry Fc domains, are smaller than whole IgGs or IgG-derived BsAbs but larger than tandem scFvs. Therefore, they have a shorter serum half-life than IgGs but remain longer in the circulation compared with tandem scFvs. The BsAb can be used in pretargeting system of PET, radioimaging or radiotherapy. It can mediate targeting of radioactivity to tumor cells. It was designed for the treatment of solid tumors.
