PE-A*02:01/Human MAGEA4 (GVYDGREHTV) MHC Tetramer

This product is a tetramer of biotinylated peptide/MHC complex with streptavidin mainly composed of MAGEA4-derived peptide of GVYDGREHTV covering 230-239 and A*02:01 molecule. The pMHC tetramer recognizes CD8 T cells, and can be used in the analysis of individual antigen-specific T cells.

- This gene is a member of the MAGEA gene family. The members of this family encode proteins with 50 to 80% sequence identity to each other. The promoters and first exons of the MAGEA genes show considerable variability, suggesting that the existence of this gene family enables the same function to be expressed under different transcriptional controls. The MAGEA genes are clustered at chromosomal location Xq28. They have been implicated in some hereditary disorders, such as dyskeratosis congenita. At least four variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.

Great Tool For MAGEA4 Analysis
The PE-labeled A*02:01 tetramer for MAGEA4 (230-239) performed exceptionally well. We used it to detect specific CD8 T cells in our samples. The staining was clean, and the product helped us advance our understanding of this MAGE family member.
