- A state of hyporesponsiveness induced when a naive T cell recognizes antigen (Signal 1) without necessary co-stimulation (Signal 2). Unlike exhaustion, anergy is often a stable "off" state to prevent autoimmunity against self-antigens.

- Store at 4°C for up to a week. For long-term storage, store at -20°C or below.
