Skin-derived ABCB5-positive mesenchymal stem cells are isolated from human skin and are under clinical investigation for the treatment of chronic venous ulcers (CVU). The DrugMonitor™ Anti-ABCB5⁺ MSCs Antibody (VS-1224-YC1985) is an anti-drug antibody (ADA) against ABCB5⁺ MSCs. This drug-based antibody is raised in mice immunized with the skin-derived ABCB5-positive mesenchymal stem cells. The anti-ABCB5⁺ MSCs antibody may be used in ELISA, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) analyses, or serves as a reference standard in ADA assays. It also is an excellent tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, allowing to evaluate the drug efficacy and determine the drug concentration of the ABCB5⁺ MSCs in samples.
