Chlorotoxin I-131, in trials for brain cancer, diminishes matrix metalloproteinase activity impacting chloride channels. This product is the DrugMonitor™ Anti-Chlorotoxin Antibody (VS-0125-YC562), specifically designed as an anti-drug antibody (ADA) that targets Chlorotoxin. The ADA was raised in rabbits immunized with Chlorotoxin conjugated to BSA and is suitable for use in ELISA and lateral flow assays. This antibody may be employed in pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) analyses, or as a reference standard in ADA assays. Furthermore, as a drug-based antibody, it serves as an exemplary tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, facilitating the determination of Chlorotoxin drug concentrations in various samples.
