Methaqualone, a potent sedative-hypnotic now less commonly used due to dependence potential, was formerly used in pharmacotherapy but currently serves as an internal standard for analyte determination. This product is the DrugMonitor™ Anti-Methaqualone Polyclonal Antibody (VS-0125-YC2189), specifically designed as an anti-drug antibody (ADA) that targets Methaqualone. The ADA was raised in rabbits immunized with Methaqualone and is suitable for use in ELISA and lateral flow assays. This antibody may be employed in pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) analyses, or as a reference standard in ADA assays. Furthermore, as a drug-based antibody, it serves as an exemplary tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, facilitating the determination of Methaqualone drug concentrations in various samples.
