Palmitoyl-protein thioesterase 1 (PPT1) is an enzyme involved in depalmitoylation, and mutations in PPT1 are associated with neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis (NCL). The DrugMonitor™ Anti-PPT1 Antibody (VS-1224-YC992) is an anti-drug antibody (ADA) against PPT1. This drug-based antibody is raised in mice immunized with the Recombinant human palmitoyl-protein thioesterase-1. The anti-PPT1 antibody may be used in ELISA, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) analyses, or serves as a reference standard in ADA assays. It also is an excellent tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, allowing to evaluate the drug efficacy and determine the drug concentration of the PPT1 in samples.
