The AbPlus Anti-Rab7a Magnetic Beads (VS-0724-YC341) is an innovative affinity resin which is bound with anti-Rab7a specific antibody. The beads were designed for small-scale affinity purification and immunoprecipitation (IP) of Rab7a protein under native and denaturing conditions.

- The beads are in suspension and will settle upon storage. Prior to use, mix the vial gently (do not vortex) to ensure delivery of proper bead volume.

- Enables GDP binding activity; GTP binding activity; and small GTPase binding activity. Involved in bone resorption. Located in alveolar lamellar body and late endosome. Is anchored component of synaptic vesicle membrane. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2B. Orthologous to human RAB7A (RAB7A, member RAS oncogene family).
