Deglycosylation Enzyme A (Hydrolyzes Mucin-Type O-glycans) (CAT#: VS-0724-CJ16)
The enzyme is a protease that hydrolyzes mucin-type O-glycans (including sialic acids). It is recommended to incubate the samples at 37 °C for 2 hours. It can not digest unmodified serine (Ser, S) and threonine (Thr,T) residues, or glycoproteins with only N-linked glycans. This protease was cloned from P. aeruginosa and produced in E. coli with His-tag for easy purification.
