IgG-digesting Enzyme A (Yielding F(ab')₂ and Fc)

This product is an IgG-specific cysteine protease that digests IgG molecules to homogenous F(ab')₂ and Fc fragments. The IgG-digesting enzyme A digests human IgG1-4 and some classes of rat, monkey, rabbit and sheep. It has limited activity on mouse IgG2a and IgG3, but does not digest Mouse IgG1 and IgG2b. It is recommended to incubate the samples at 37 °C for 30 minutes and 1 unit IgG-digesting enzyme A corresponds to 1 µg of IgG.
