IgM Purification Kit (VS-0824-WK23) (CAT#: VS-0824-WK23)
This IgM purification kit is an easy-to-use affinity matrix and buffer system to purify IgM. This kit allows specific purification of mouse IgM from ascites fluid or partial isolation of human IgM from serum. This kit includes a pre-immobilized MBP column and buffers for convenient purification of at least 1.5 mg IgM from 0.5 mL ascites samples per column. The columns included in this kit with stable ligands and resins can be regenerated and reused at least 10 times without significant decline in binding capacity.

- Mannan Binding Protein (MBP) is a mannose and N-acetylglucosamine-specific lectin present in mammalian sera that is capable of initiating carbohydrate-mediated complement activation. MBP consists of 18 identical subunits, each with molecular mass of approximately 31 kDa. MBP covalently attached to an agarose support produces an excellent tool for affinity purification of IgM.
