The mFluor Violet 510 antibody labeling kit is a convenient and efficient method for labelling small amounts of proteins with the Violet Laser-excitable mFluor Violet 510 dye. It is easy to use and provides stable and specific labelling results.

  • Procedure Steps
  • Start conjugation reaction
    1. Combine the protein working solution (mFluor Violet 510) with one vial of labeling dye. Mix thoroughly by pipetting or vortexing the vial.
    Note: If labeling 100 µg of protein, divide the protein into 2 x 50 µg portions and react each portion with one vial of labeling dye before combining both vials for the next step.
    2. Allow the conjugation reaction mixture to sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes.
    Note: The mixture can be rotated or shaken for a longer duration if desired.
    Stop conjugation reaction
    1. Add 5 µL (for 50 µg protein) or 10 µL (for 100 µg protein) of TQ-Dyed quench buffer (10% of the total reaction volume) to the conjugation reaction mixture. Mix well.
    2. Incubate at room temperature for 10 minutes. The labeled protein (antibody) is now ready for use.

  • Upon receiving, store the product at -20°C.
  • Conjugate Storage
  • To maintain stability, store the protein conjugate at a concentration of> 0.5 mg/mL with a carrier protein such as 0.1% bovine serum albumin. For extended storage, consider lyophilizing the protein conjugates or dividing them into single-use aliquots and storing them at ≤ -20°C.
