This conjugation kit is specifically designed for tagging IgG antibodies with small molecules that have carboxylic acid (-COOH) functional groups. With the components provided in the kit, users can convert the carboxylic acid into an activated N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester, which can then react with the protein's surface amine groups to create a durable amide bond. The resulting product is subsequently purified to eliminate any residual unreacted small molecule acids.

- This method provides a convenient and efficient way to attach small molecules containing carboxylic acid to antibodies. The preparation process takes only 4 hours with less than 30 minutes of hands-on time. In addition, this method allows for in-process optimization of the degree of loading during conjugation. All necessary reagents and supplies are included for both preparation and purification steps. The final conjugated products are over 90% pure, as confirmed by size exclusion chromatography.
