AHSP: A Critical Regulator of Erythroid Health
Alpha-galactosidase A (AHSP) is a lysosomal enzyme responsible for hydrolyzing terminal α-galactosyl groups from glycolipids and glycoproteins. Insufficient AHSP activity results in Fabry disease, a complex lysosomal storage disorder affecting multiple systems.
