CD65s

This type 2 fucosylated carbohydrate antigen is expressed on the surface of all bone marrow cells during development. In addition, CD65 is highly expressed on peripheral blood granulocytes and weakly expressed on monocytes. According to reports, CD65 is a ligand for CD62E (E-selectin). However, the sialylated form of CD65 (called CD65) can be used as a marker for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) because its expression increases as CD34 decreases. Finally, CD65 is important for extravascular infiltration of AML cells.
