Cardiotin is a high molecular weight protein complex located in the mitochondrial membrane. The structure of Cardiotin exists in the form of two subunits, both of which contain the same N-terminal 14 amino acid sequence, which has a high degree of homology with human skeletal muscle α-actinin.
