EOMES

EOMES encodes a transcription factor involved in the differentiation of specific cell types, particularly in the development of T cells and other immune cells. EOMES is part of the T-box family of transcription factors and is critical for the development of the mesoderm and endoderm during early embryogenesis. In the immune system, EOMES influences the differentiation of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells. Its role in immune function has been linked to both adaptive and innate immunity.
