SECTM1

Secreted and transmembrane protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SECTM1 gene. SECTM1 is a 27 kDa type I transmembrane protein whose soluble form is a ligand for CD7. SECTM1 is expressed by a number of normal cell types, including neutrophils, dendritic cells and epithelial cells. It is also highly expressed by breast and prostate cancer cell lines, and by some myeloid leukemias.
