10-FnIII scaffold protein anti-Streptavidin (CAT#: SFN-L023)

The tenth fibronectin type III domain (10Fn3) that bound Streptavidin was isolated from the library using yeast two-hybrid technology. The fibronectin type III domain (FN3) is a small autonomous folding unit which occurs in many animal proteins involving in ligand binding. The β-sandwich structure of FN3 closely resembles that of immunoglobulin domains. After affinity maturation, 10Fn3 variants were identified having affinities for Streptavidin as determined by biosensor technology. It's potential to be used in diagnostic, research and therapeutic applications.
