The anti-5-HT3 receptor antibodies specifically bind to 5-HT3 receptors of isotype 5-HT3A or isotype 5-HT3AB, either of which is a cys-loop receptor. By bind to 5-HT3 receptor and modulate its activity, the antibody can be used for treating the schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
