Breast cancer biomarkers at key points during disease progression
Specificity without CD16a Cross-reactivity
One of the main challenges in our flow cytometry experiments is distinguishing between different Fc fragment receptors. This monoclonal antibody (clone NN0383-6M22) performed exactly as promised, detecting FCGR3B without any cross-reactivity to CD16a. This high level of specificity allowed us to generate very clean and interpretable data for our receptor studies.
Breast cancer biomarkers at key points during disease progression
Easy Reconstitution and Storage
The lyophilized format of this antibody was very convenient for shipping and storage. Reconstituting it with sterile PBS was straightforward, and the resulting solution remained stable at -70°C as recommended. We used it for Western Blotting of CHO cell lysates expressing the human recombinant CD16b extracellular domain, obtaining strong signal detection.

Q&As

  1. Does this antibody cross-react with CD16a?

A: No, this Recombinant Mouse anti-Human FCGR3B Monoclonal antibody (clone NN0383-6M22) does not detect CD16a. It is specific for Human FCGR3B (CD16b) and has been tested to ensure it distinguishes between these related receptors. The immunogen used was the Human recombinant CD16b extracellular domain expressed in CHO cells.

  2. How should I reconstitute and store this product?

A: This product is supplied as a lyophilized powder. We recommend reconstituting the antibody with 200 μl of sterile PBS to achieve a final concentration of 0.5 mg/ml. For storage, the reconstituted antibody should be kept at -70°C to maintain stability. It contains PBS but no preservatives, so sterile handling is essential.
