Excellent for EMSA Applications
Finding antibodies that work well in Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assays (EMSA) can be difficult, but this mouse monoclonal antibody (clone CD-3) exceeded our expectations. It specifically recognized the human TFDP2 transcription factor without cross-reacting with other DP family members, which was critical for the accuracy of our DNA-binding complex analysis.
High Specificity for DP2 Protein
Our lab focuses on the E2F dimerization partners, and specificity is key. We tested this antibody against recombinant Human DP2 protein, and it showed high affinity. The purified IgG1 format is robust, and we have had success storing aliquots at -80°C for several months without any noticeable loss of activity in our assays.

Is this antibody specific to TFDP2 or does it bind other DP family members?
A: This Recombinant Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone CD-3) is specific for Human TFDP2. It does not detect other members of the DP family. The antibody was raised against Recombinant DP2 protein (Human) and is an excellent tool for distinguishing TFDP2 in your experiments, such as Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assays (EMSA).

What are the recommended storage conditions for this liquid antibody?
A: The antibody is supplied in liquid form at a concentration of 0.5 mg/ml. For short-term use (1-2 weeks), you can store it at +4°C.
