Recombinant Anti-CD18 × Anti-C3d Bispecific Antibody (IgG-IgG) (CAT#: BSIG-L001)
Anti-CD18 × Anti-C3d Bispecific Antibody (IgG-IgG) is a chemical conjugate composed of the anti-CD18 monoclonal antibody and the other antibody specific for C3d. A stable thioether linkage is formed between the two antibodies. This BsAb can reverse the consequences of opsonin-receptor mismatch by permitting interactions between PMN phagocytosis receptors and C3b or a bacteria antigen, thereby enhancing the phagocytosis and killing of bacteria. It was designed for the treatment of bacterial infection in the lungs of cystic fibrosis (CF).
