Recombinant Anti-CD20 × Anti-CD22 Bispecific Antibody (Tandem Diabody) is a bispecific fusion protein with four binding sites, two of which bind to one cell surface antigens and the other two to the other cells. Tandem Diabodies do not carry Fc domains. So they are smaller than whole IgGs or IgG-derived BsAbs but larger than tandem scFvs. Therefore, they have a shorter serum half-life than IgGs but remain longer in the circulation compared with tandem scFvs. This bispecific antibody can induce apoptosis and growth inhibition without second-antibody crosslinking, and is significantly more potent in killing lymphoma cells. It was designed for the treatment of B-cell lymphomas or leukemias, autoimmune disease, immune dysfunction disease.
