Recombinant Anti-Melanoma-associated proteoglycan × Anti-CD28 Bispecific Antibody (Tandem Diabody) (CAT#: TAND-L047)
Recombinant Anti-melanoma-associated proteoglycan × Anti-CD28 Bispecific Antibody (Tandem Diabody) is a bispecific fusion protein with four binding sites, two of which bind to antigens of one kind of cells and the other two to the other kind of cells. Tandem Diabodies do not carry Fc domains, are smaller than whole IgGs or IgG-derived bsAbs, but larger than tandem scFvs. Therefore, they have a shorter serum half-life than IgGs but remain longer in the circulation compared with tandem scFvs. This BsAb can induce a TCR/CD3 independent, "supraagonistic" stimulation of the CD28 molecule on resting human T cells, which depends on tumor cell binding and results in tumor cell killing. It was designed for the treatment of melanoma cancer.
