How is this Fab isotype control prepared and purified?
A: This Fab fragment is enzymaticly cleaved from mouse IgG1 using Immobilized Ficin. The Fab monomer is then separated from F(ab')2, intact antibody, and Fc fragments using Protein A and Size exclusion chromatography to ensure high purity.
