Abatacept is a soluble fusion protein that links the extracellular domain of human CTLA-4 to the modified Fc segment of human IgG1. It functions as a selective co-stimulation modulator with T lymphocyte inhibitory activity. The DrugMonitor™ Anti-Abatacept Antibody (VS-1224-YC5) is an anti-drug antibody (ADA) against Abatacept. This drug-based antibody is raised in mice immunized with the Abatacept. The anti-Abatacept antibody may be used in ELISA, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) analyses, or serves as a reference standard in ADA assays. It also is an excellent tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, allowing to evaluate the drug efficacy and determine the drug concentration of the Abatacept in samples.
