Recombinant Anti-APOC3 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC23)

The anti-APOC3 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and cynomolgus APOC3. APOC3 regulates triglyceride-rich lipoprotein metabolism, influencing cardiovascular disease risk. The antibody has a novel APOC3-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble APOC3 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
