This product is a mouse monoclonal antibody against ATP6V1C1, ATPase H + transporting V1 subunit C1. ATP6V1C1 is a component of vacuolar ATPase (V-ATPase), a multisubunit enzyme responsible for acidifying intracellular compartments in eukaryotic cells. V-ATPase dependent acidification is essential for processes such as protein sorting, zymogen activation, receptor-mediated endocytosis, and synaptic vesicle proton gradient generation. This gene encodes a V1 domain C subunit of V-ATPase. This mouse monoclonal antibody, applicable in ELISA and specific for human antigens, provides a means to study the functions of ATP6V1C1 in intracellular acidification and its potential role in related physiological processes and diseases.
