Mouse Anti-Bet v 1 Recombinant Antibody (clone BV16) (CAT#: HPAB-S0006-YC)
BV16 is a murine IgG1 antibody raised by immunization with purified Bet v 1. BV16 partially inhibits the binding of human serum IgE to Bet v 1, the epitope defined by BV16 is partly or completely overlapping Bet v 1 epitopes recognized by human serum IgE originating from natural exposure.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.
Figure 1 Inhibition of IgE binding to surface-coated △29NCS_5x in the presence of both Bet v 1 and serial dilutions of Bet v 1-binding monoclonal mouse IgG antibody BV16 in ELISA.
In the absence of BV16, IgE binding to △29NCS_5x was inhibited to 84% by Bet v 1. The observed Bet v 1-induced inhibition of IgE-△29NCS_5x interaction could, however, been abolished by the monoclonal antibody BV16 in a dose-dependent manner. This result suggests a structural overlap between the individual cross-reactive IgE epitope of △29NCS_5x and the Bet v1-specific IgG epitope recognized by monoclonal antibody BV16.

Interaction of monoclonal BV16 with Bet v 1_4x was virtually abolished.
