Recombinant Anti-CGB3 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (AB4 var.)

The anti-CGB3 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human CGB3. CGB3, part of the glycoprotein hormone beta chain family, important for pregnancy maintenance. The antibody has a novel CGB3-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CGB3 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
