Recombinant Anti-CHRDL1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC64)

The anti-CHRDL1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human CHRDL1. CHRDL1 antagonizes BMP4, involved in retinal angiogenesis regulation. The antibody has a novel CHRDL1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CHRDL1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
