mAb-15C5 is a monoclonal antibody directed against fragment-D dimer of crosslinked human fibrin. with an affinity for a D-dimerspecific epitope that is more than 1000-fold higher than that for human fibrinogen. This antibody has been used in an
enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantification of fragment-D dimer in plasma, and for thrombus imaging in
an animal model in vivo.
