Mouse Anti-P. falciparum CSP Recombinant Antibody (clone 850)
CAT#: VS-0724-FY25
This is a mouse antibody that specifically recognizes PfCSP. The clone 850 binds to NANP repeats with high affinity and achieves potent parasite inhibition. The clone 850 is one of the highest affinity NANP binders described to date, with KD of 1 nM, 25 pM, and 32 pM for NPNA3 and NANP6 peptides and recombinant full-length PfCSP, respectively. The clone 850 was isolated following immunization with an antigen containing PfCSP repeats in a transgenic mouse model.

- Cell membrane, Cytoplasm, Membrane
- Post Translation Modifications
- During host cell invasion, proteolytically cleaved at the cell membrane in the region I by a papain-like cysteine protease of parasite origin (By similarity).
Cleavage is triggered by the sporozoite contact with highly sulfated heparan sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs) present on the host hepatocyte cell surface.

- Function
- CSP, or Content Security Policy, is a security standard that helps prevent the exploitation of cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks by allowing website owners to define where resources like JavaScript can be loaded from. CSP works by specifying the domains from which resources can be loaded, thereby minimizing the risk of XSS attacks by restricting the sources of executable scripts on a website.
The primary function of CSP is to enhance the security of web applications by reducing the potential vulnerabilities that can be exploited by malicious actors. By implementing CSP, website owners can control which external resources can be loaded, reducing the risk of unauthorized code execution and protecting user data.
