Recombinant Anti-FETUB Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (CBF257 var.)

The anti-FETUB eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against mouse FETUB. FETUB, a fetuin family member, influences osteogenesis and systemic inflammation response. The antibody has a novel FETUB-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble FETUB from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
