Recombinant Anti-FGB Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (8E5 var.)

The anti-FGB eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human FGB. FGB forms part of fibrinogen, crucial for clot formation and regulation activities. The antibody has a novel FGB-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble FGB from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
