Rabbit Anti-GRK6 Recombinant Antibody (clone R07-3E4)

The R07-3E4 recombinant monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes human GRK6. It cross-reacts with mouse. This GRK6 antibody was verified by western blot analysis of GRK6 in mouse spleen lysates. Western blot demonstrated that R07-3E4 recognized a target protein with a molecular weight of 66 kDa.

- Function
- Specifically phosphorylates the activated forms of G protein-coupled receptors. Such receptor phosphorylation initiates beta-arrestin-mediated receptor desensitization, internalization, and signaling events leading to their desensitization. Seems to be involved in the desensitization of D2-like dopamine receptors in striatum and chemokine receptor CXCR4 which is critical for CXCL12-induced cell chemotaxis (By similarity).
