Recombinant Anti-HAMP Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC139)

The anti-HAMP eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human HAMP. HAMP is involved in iron homeostasis and antimicrobial activity, with mutations leading to severe iron overload disorders. The antibody has a novel HAMP-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble HAMP from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
