Recombinant Anti-HSPG2 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC146)

The anti-HSPG2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human HSPG2. HSPG2 is a perlecan, a proteoglycan important for vascular and membrane structure and function. The antibody has a novel HSPG2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble HSPG2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
