Recombinant Anti-HTRA1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC147)

The anti-HTRA1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and mouse HTRA1. HTRA1 is an enzyme regulating growth factors and has links to age-related macular degeneration. The antibody has a novel HTRA1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble HTRA1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
