Recombinant Anti-IDE Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC149)

The anti-IDE eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human IDE. IDE is a protease involved in insulin degradation, linked to Alzheimer's disease and diabetes. The antibody has a novel IDE-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble IDE from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
