The anti-IFNL1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human IFNL1. IFNL1 complexes enhance treatment efficacy for multiple conditions compared to interferon-λ alone. The antibody has a novel IFNL1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble IFNL1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
