The anti-INHBB eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human INHBB. The antibody has cross reactivity with X. laevis INHBB. INHBB combines to form inhibin, a hormone regulating FSH secretion, linked to tumor suppression. The antibody has a novel INHBB-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble INHBB from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
